We are working with a heating company who are looking to grow and strengthen their surveying team.  The role is suited to someone who has experience of field sales and more importantly the experience of going in customer homes selling heating solutions – this role will give someone the autonomy to manage their time, their work-load professionally.

The key for this role is to offer excellent customer service and know the product.  Ideally our client is looking for someone who has previous experience within working in the heating industry, predominately maybe done boiler sales or worked for a boiler manunfacturer.

Our client has leads, booked in appointments ready from customers who are wanting to see them, so the hard graft of appointments is already arranged and carried out.

Key skills –
Previous experience of heating/boiler sales.
Knowledge/can confidently offer finance packages would be an advantage.
Good sales ability.
Can professionally and confidently close a sale accurately.
Offer a high level of customer service.

The hours are Monday – Friday – but schedules and appointments will vary due to customers requirements.

Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager

Salary: Basic £23,000 plus generous bonus leading to on target earnings of £36,000+

My client is one of the leading independent fire and security solutions providers and has been rapidly expanding the operations across the UK. Offering installation and maintenance services, my client offers a wide range of solutions from basic fire extinguishers through to large commercial installations.

The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the sales and service and maintenance contracts for commercial premises across a range of fire and security systems.

You’ll manage the key account list to maximise sales opportunities and profit, identify opportunities to get new business with your own sales cold-calling activity, develop those relationships and take a hands-on approach where you will act as the face of the business. Reporting on the weekly sales activity to the Branch Director.

This role will be working from their Sheffield office with a mixture of field and some office – based activity.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, with a strong track record of sales ideally within Fire Protection/ Alarm/CCTV industries or similar.
  • Ability to work towards achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Results driven with determination and hunger to succeed.
  • Superb leadership qualities.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Benefits

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll receive a salary of around £23,000 dependent on experience, plus bonuses that will enable you to achieve on target earnings of £36,000.

Sales & Account Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Sales & Account Manager to work within a large PLC business in the construction industry.

Duties in brief:

• Answering incoming calls from new customers and account customers alike.

• To gain a positive relationship with customers and maintain accounts

• Providing quotations

• To learn our product range to a technical level in order to offer the correct and advice and to put forward USP’s in order to gain a sale

• Following up quotes, overcoming objections and closing sales

• Opening new credit accounts

• Using an in-house CRM system to log and diarise all contacts

• To make outgoing calls to new leads

• To make outgoing calls to chase previously quoted customers for orders

• Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements.

• Telephone to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts.

• Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations.

Skills:

Knowledge of the construction industry would be an advantage.

Qualifications in any construction related subject would be an advantage

GCSE Maths and English

A high level of computer literacy (inc. Microsoft Office and CRM systems)

Proven track record in a sales environment with evidence of success

Previous Business to Business telesales experience preferable

The hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
