Vehicle Technician – Fleet Field Based – Uxbridge Area

Our national fleet maintenance client is extremely keen to appoint a strong mobile vehicle technician who is able to work out in the field completing booked in work within a company’s car park or at the side of the road, the maintenance requirements is for service, maintenance, repair, but only work that can be completed at the side of a vehicle.  This opportunity is for scheduled work, non reactive, so it is all booked in and no breakdown or recovery work.

Day to day you will receive your work load through an effective hand held device, this updates and sends you from 1 job to another, all within a specific post code area and relevant to your home address for distance expected to cover.

Our client offers a new van, equipped with larger tools, so you just have to pop your own hand tools on.  Uniform workwear, device for jobs, fuel card and much more.

This opportunity really suits someone who is ready to work out in the field, perhaps had enough of the workshop and enjoys being their own boss.

Our client works with some really large companies for their fleet maintenance offering, they are growing so more and more opportunities are arising.

For this role strict criteria is as follows, must be 25 years old plus – this is due to  vehicle insurance rules.  Ideally possess a minimum of 3 years within the vehicle technician arena.

No more than 6 points on your driving license.
