Lighting Design Engineer

We are working with a Yorkshire based business to recruit an exceptional Lighting Design Engineer.

Role Overview

The Lighting Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high‑quality lighting solutions across commercial, industrial, architectural, or entertainment environments. The role combines technical engineering expertise with creative problem‑solving to produce lighting systems that are safe, efficient, compliant, and visually effective.  Be able to liaise with clients, discuss ideas, concepts and endeavor to exceed the customers expectations.

Prepare plans and drawings.

Regular meetings with Technical design team.

Ideally the successful candidate will posses 2 years within a lighting Design Engineer role, be LIA qualified, able to demonstrate usage of Relux, Dialux and AutoCAD (SoldWorks)

Be-able to show strong IT skills, be able to organise and project and look at budgets and costs.
