Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site investigations, including soil sampling, testing, and land surveying to gather critical geotechnical data.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project planning, ensuring geotechnical considerations are integrated into overall system design.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Oversee construction activities related to geotechnical aspects, providing technical guidance to contractors and land surveyors.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout all project phases.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in design workflows and project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred, not essential.
  • Proven experience in geotechnical analysis, design, and construction within civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of land surveying techniques and their application in geotechnical investigations.
  • Experience with system design principles including schematics and structural analysis.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively.
  • Construction experience is highly desirable to facilitate practical understanding of field operations.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical data accurately and present findings comprehensively.
